It is not uncommon to want to spoil our pups when we’re eating our meals at the dinner table, or when we are having a snack on the couch. We will never be able to escape the two beady eyes staring at you waiting for something to drop so they can snatch it up, but not all human food is good for our four-legged friends.
Although the food we eat is safe for us, it may not be safe for them, and it is very important that we know that. Dogs do digest food differently than humans, and some fruits or vegetables can even be downright dangerous for our dogs. Please take a look at this list to know what they can have a taste of and what should be avoided.
The safe list is far longer than the not safe list of fruits and veggies that your dog can eat, but this is only in moderation, almost like a little snack for them here and there. Introducing new food to our dog’s diets can develop an allergic reaction, so look out for any symptoms such as diarrhea, vomiting, or even skin problems. You can always talk to your veterinarian if you are concerned or have any questions at all!
