Meet Our Sara Couto
Sara attended the University of Toronto, where she completed degrees in Psychology, Sociology, and Crime. During her time at University, she found animal behavior studies particularly captivating.
Due to this, after her studies, Sara completed a certificate in Animal Care from Sheridan College and a field placement at the Toronto Zoo. These experiences made her even more certain that working with animals was going to be a very fulfilling path. So, Sara started working at the Clarkson Village Animal Hospital, where you will find her today.
In CVAH’s caring and knowledgeable environment, Sara finds it easy to nourish her lifelong love for animals, to help better their lives, and to learn from the bond between pet and owner. Also, the mix of quirky, supportive, and delightfully geeky people that work at the CVAH creates a workplace of enjoyment, respect, and mutual teaching.
When Sara is not spending time with animals, she loves to read and thoroughly enjoys spending time hiking in forests (her happy place). Sara currently does not have any pets, but looks forward to a time when she can fill some farm land with animals, including her favourite large and giant breed dogs.
