Katherine graduated with honours from the Veterinary Technician program at Seneca College in 2008. She worked at our animal hospital as a patient care attendant and was happy to join us as a full-time member of our nursing care team as a Registered Veterinary Technician in May 2008.
Katherine is the proud owner of a Brittany Spaniel named “Maya.” Although Maya is almost 8 years old, but still has a lot of “puppy attitude” left in her and is the happiest when surrounded by loving friends and family. Although she doesn’t know it, Maya has to share her family’s affection with her sister “Hamlet” the pet hamster.
In her spare time, Katherine enjoys going to the movies, taking an evening walk through Rattray Marsh with Maya, camping and cottaging with her fiancé, Gordon. Together they like to go canoeing, kayaking, snowmobiling and scenic boat and ATV rides.
