
Our patients are your special family members, and we take care of your pets as we would our own. Our compassionate and highly qualified nursing team consists of four registered veterinary technicians, and four patient care assistants.
We provide full nursing support such as:
- day-to-day care of hospitalized patients,
- monitoring patients while under sedation or anesthetic,
- blood pressure measurement,
- performing bandage changes,
- intravenous catheter placement and iv fluid monitoring,
- venipuncture and processing samples in the laboratory, i.e. complete blood counts, blood chemistries, urinalysis, fecal check for parasites, skin scrapings for mites, cytology for ear or skin infections, etc.
- performing radiology,
- providing physical therapy and exercise,
- administering medications and assisting the veterinarians
These are only some of the numerous ways that our experienced and dedicated nursing staff provides superb care for our patients.
