Wellness Programs - Nutrition, Play & Exercise, Vaccination, Checkups

Wellness programs outline the recommended and ideal steps to take with your pets to maximize the preventive aspects of medicine and surgery. In our own daily lives we try to eat well, exercise often, get regular physical checkups and dental care. This is all for the purpose of staying healthy. In other words, we want to try to delay or prevent certain problems that would be possible or even likely, if these measures were not taken. The exact same goes for the dog and cat members of our families. Wellness and Preventive health care includes excellent nutrition, yearly checkups, appropriate vaccination to prevent infectious disease, parasite treatment and control (intestinal worms, heartworms, fleas etc), regular dental care, grooming and exercise, as well as playtime, obedience training for dogs, and many other simple everyday practices. Most of this is common sense, but putting all of these ideas together as programs, makes it easier for you to accomplish. We want to help you to understand our recommendations for preventive health care so that you can better help your pets live long, healthy and happy lives, and to be loving, welcome members of your family.
