Supporting Newfoundland Dog Rescues with Newf Friends

March 11th, 2015 by Daniel Mudrick

Clarkson Village Animal Hospital proudly supports the Newfoundland dog rescue group, Newf Friends.

Newf Friends is an amazing network of volunteers working in Ontario to rescue and find homes for Newfoundland dogs in need. The organization is a division of HART (Highland Animal Relief Team), a registered charity that focuses on helping abused and abandoned dogs.

Newf Friends matches up their rescue dogs with families of good fit, with a goal of finding forever homes for these beautiful animals. Before they adopt the dogs out, the organization ensures they are in good health and ready for loving homes.

That’s where we come in! We are happy to provide these wonderful dogs with the medical services they need at a small cost to the organization. Through our relationship with Newf Friends, the dogs receive proper care before going to live at their forever homes. By the time we’re done with them, they’re happy, healthy, and ready to take on the next adventure!

This organization does great work in the Ontario area. We encourage anyone interested in getting involved to visit their website:

Making pets healthy and happy is our mission. We work hard to provide the best possible care to our patients and we are glad to have the opportunity to be involved with helping Newfoundland dogs in need with Newf Friends.

About Daniel Mudrick

I'm the owner and founder of Clarkson Village Animal Hospital, a state-of-the-art veterinary hospital that's open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Clarkson Village Animal Hospital has always been a dream of mine, and by caring for one patient at a time, the hospital has continued to grow. During those rare times when I'm not at the hospital, I'm at yoga, hiking, gardening, and spending time with my family. I also enjoy reading to stay current on the most recent advances in veterinary medicine.
